One of the less-talked about strengths of Changetip is not what it does but how it looks.


Changetip’s interface is simple and fun. You can use people’s aliases and you can tip them in words instead of code.

To the average person a bitcoin address (e.g. "1KeBs4HBQzkdHC2ou3gpyGHqcL7aKzwTve) looks like tech-nerd gobbeldygook. It hearkens back to the era when websites were just IP addresses. Folks don’t want to deal with long random strings of letters and numbers.
